South Bar & Grill in Sandyford in Dublin was part of the Town Bar & Grill group back in the day. Things change.
Then it opened up as Pinots last year, quite an ambitious place, big floor area, big operation. And I pitched them for photography which they were delighted to avail of and I had heard mutterings of ‘rebrand’ as well. So came in and shot a fine selection of the menus, and turned up on the Monday to shoot some interiors. Doors closed. Like, forever. The place had very quickly shut down. I’ve no idea what happened, but the whole thing came to a very sudden crashing halt after only being open a matter of weeks. Pretty sad. Anyway was digging through some hard drives and stumbled across some seriously chunky chips and a bit of steak. Guaranteed hunger after looking at this for more than… too late
