Interiors Photography

Interiors photography usually falls into either lifestyle photography, which you’d happily see browsing many a magazine, or else architectural photography which might be more concerned about spatial relationships and narratives of buildings. They’re both equally valid but the distinction is only made by the client’s requirements.
I’ve a degree in architecture (from a long time ago) and that does help me to some extent reading spaces and buildings. For the more lifestyle orientated features it’s all about the little personal details the armoire from grandmother, the throw from Morrocco and paintings on the wall… it’s what makes a space a home.
