Restaurants – it’s all about the experience – the taste, the feel, the look.
And that’s all made up of a feast little details that you encounter while navigating a some culinary delights; the nutty bread, the stiff linen, the subtle lighting.
It’s vital that you visually communicate the atmosphere, ambiance and mood of the room that you spend so much time tweaking. So getting the right photography to sell your restaurant is crucial, and having strong visual assets dramatically improves your chance of review and features in press and online. Magazines are always delighted to find strong food photos to use in their spreads. I usually taper a package to suit each restaurants needs, but will invariably include; food, interiors, exteriors, a few quirky details and even some portraits. And if you wanted to go the whole hog, I could even shoot your suppliers at sea, in the gardens or in the woods.
Having spent a few years in the catering industry I’ve a pretty good handle on what’s important and what makes each restaurant so unique. And know I’ve only a quick short time between services, so can always work around a busy restaurant.
