Greyhound racing on the beach in Geesala, County Mayo, Ireland. Quite a bizarre but brilliant affair. Celebrating the Irish summer by unleashing the hounds on the beach, the traps are loaded on one end of the beach and then a white van sits at the far end. The van's rear axle is propped up and a flywheel attached to the rear wheel so that when the accelerator is hit it reels in a the bit of rope with a bit of towel attached it that the dogs chase.
